Ccile Bardon
Associate Professor

Ccile Bardon is Associate Professor at UQAM's psychology department and researcher at the Centre for Research and Intervention on Suicide, Ethical Issues and End-of-Life Practices (CRISE) and at the Chaire DITC on intellectual disability and behavioral disorders. She completed a PhD in psychology at UQAM in September of 2014. Her PhD thesis focuses on the impact of railway suicides and other serious railway incidents on railway employees in Canada. With Brian Mishara PhD, she co-signed several scientific reports on that topic. Ccile Bardon is a member of the CRISE since 2002. She is currently a co-researcher on two research projects. The first one, funded by Institut de recherche Robert Sauv en sant et scurit au travail - IRSST aims to evaluate the support protocols and practices following a critical railway incident in Canada. The second project, funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, aims to better evaluate the suicidal risk of persons with an intellectual disability or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
